Booth Business Support is starting a new series called Brands BBS is Loving. This series will include brands that I am currently inspired by from a product perspective and a business perspective. I love learning about how brands “keep the lights on” and what keeps them inspired each year. The first brand to be featured today is the perfect way to kick off this series. This is a quintessential American, family-owned and operated brand out of Rhode Island. Their products are beautiful and they engage their entire family (and dogs!) in their photoshoots.

This spring I was inspired by all things New England. That part of the country has nostalgia, beauty, history and a sense of the American spirit. Through doing research on brands and images of New England I stumbled upon a new-to-me brand called Kiel James Patrick. This brand has been around for over a decade and is run by husband/wife duo team Kiel and Sarah.
They live in Rhode Island and have a thriving online and in-person store full of American classics, seaside goodies like the KJP bracelet, kids clothing, sweaters and so much more.

My curiosity for this brand was piqued after following their adorable social media accounts. They have been featured by Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger, are known around New England as New England Royalty and try to manufacture as much as they can in America.
Their branding is simple yet elegant and encapsulates the seaside New England vibes of Rhode Island. The reviews on their products are nearly all 5 stars and the designs look beautiful. I can’t wait to get my hands on one of their quarter-zips someday. They sell mens, womens, and childrens apparel as well as jewelry and accessories.
Millennial Magazine said it perfectly about why this brand is so appealing: “ KJP brand with a distinct New England essence that’s both traditional and innovative. His attention to detail and ability to capture the essence of East Coast lifestyle in his creations not only define the brand’s aesthetic but also anchor it in a rich cultural narrative. The Patrick’s utilize social media heavily as their main source of marketing. Images include their own home, cabin and life and feature their son occasionally. Both of their social media accounts have beautiful images of them living their daily life while wearing their own brand. The brand also utilizes the idea of ideal New England living; with images of pristine waters, classic New England boats, American flags, porch swings and so much more that makes me want to jump into the photo and enjoy the idea of a classic New England summer.

The Patrick’s have not only created a thriving and successful Made-In-America brand, they have created an inspiring life to share with others. I am attracted to this brand for their ability to make their products in America, work together as a family, create beautiful and high-quality products and make a living that is inspiring to them and inspiring to others. I can’t wait to share them with you today.
