We recently took a holiday trip to Steamboat Springs, CO. This is a tradition with our family, and each year we look forward to it so much. Part of the Booth Business Support business is copywriting, and I love sharing different ways to use copywriting. Travel blogs are a fun and easy way to engage readers in bits of your personal travels, as well as provide great resources for places to stay, eat and have fun.

People love seeing pictures with travel blog posts, so be sure to take lots! I didn’t take as many as I should have based on our two kids keeping us very busy (they are 1 and 4 years old). People also love reading great recommendations to make a future trip of theirs easier and more planned out. It really takes the stress out of starting from scratch in a new city or town when people have already done the research for you!
Where we Stayed
Vacasa Unit #49

This was by far my favorite condo we have rented in the 10+ years we have been visiting this town. It was adequately stocked with the essentials (minus the coffee, but we figured out a solution), had plenty of space for 6 adults and 2 children. It was located right by the ski area, and had a cute walking path and access to a hot tub right behind the backdoor.
The day we left was the day this entire region got 6+ inches of snow, but the plow driver for the entire condo unit was so accommodating and plowed as much snow out for us as possible so we could load the cars with ease.

What we Ate
With condo-living we like to bring a lot of our food. It is the easiest option with kids, but we still had two delicious dinners out. Over the years we have also discovered great breakfast and lunch options, but for this trip we went out to dinner one night and called take-out the next night.
Vaqueros Mexican
This sit down restaurant was a slam dunk with the food and the environment. We had reservations, but the wait wouldn’t have been long if we hadn’t. The service was impeccable and the drinks and dinner were delicious. We will definitely eat here again!
Back Door Grill
This great burger restaurant came recommended twice and won two awards in the “Best of the Boat” magazine: Best Burger and Best Take-Out Experience. We were sold since we wanted to do take-out for this dinner. It was a great experience, and we thoroughly enjoyed our burgers!
What we Did
Skiing
Skiing is always the top priority when we got to Steamboat. The snow was great this year too! I stayed back with the kids, but my husband and other family members got in a great day of skiing!

It was a little windy at the top!
Old Town Hot Springs
The boys, my mom and I went to the hot springs in town for the morning. We had a great time with very small crowds, and wonderfully warm water! The jog out to get towels at the end was a little chilly because all the pools are outdoors. The entry fee is good all day, and is a bit high, but it was very fun to be outdoors enjoying the warm hot springs.
