Welcome to a new series: Behind the Business! I started this series as a way to share the more real side behind me (Murphy) as the business owner of Booth Business Support. I have a hard time trusting anyone who doesn’t share parts of life, so get ready to see a few more of these posts in the coming months.

Spring Fever
Wyoming has had a harsh winter this year. Winter in Wyoming is never great, and in Cheyenne the wind blows a lot. However, this winter brought lots of snow to certain parts of the state and colder temps more often. In January I committed to the 1,000 Hours Outside challenge and we are loving it! It gives us a goal of getting outside even when I really, really don’t want to. The boys (aged 4 and 1) are getting tougher and tougher with the colder days. I know we will be thankful for springtime temps!

Balancing mama + business owner
My workload right now includes two clients and a ministry I serve as their bookkeeper. I usually work about 8-10 hours a week. Those hours allow me lots of time with the boys, especially in the mornings. One of the reasons for starting this business was so I could be a more present mom and still serve clients. I know it won’t always look like this and someday both boys will be in school and I can devote the entire day back to working, but for now I am loving the flexibility to have more of their waking hours with them.
